Homestead Collective is Caitlyn Deviney and Ben Morris, an indie-folk duo currently based just outside Philadelphia. Their influences include Nickel Creek, Billie Marten, Josh Garrels, and Drew Holcomb. Memorable melodies and intricate instrumentation combined with haunting, honest lyrics - they write stories in songs that we all want to tell.
They are a community organization and movement celebrating music and art through continual gatherings, with the focus being on inviting human kind to be a part of a growing community of fellow creatives. It embodies the tangible “togetherness”. Whether you dance, speak, play, sculpt, photograph, sing, write, paint, film, or enjoy all of the above, Homestead invites you in.
Homestead is intended to be a safe space to share the hearts and the gifts we have and celebrate them together. It is a time of intentional networking, of showcasing music, art, and things inbetween, and providing an outlet of creativity and a family tribe. It's intended to be and designed to be a place of inspiration, innovation, cultivation, and restoration. To get out of the way of ourselves and be a part of something bigger. Settle on this land. Claim it, with eager expectation and preemptive gratitude.
