Studies have shown that approximately 20% of homeless individuals have been trafficked at some point in their lives. This workshop will provide information on recognizing and reporting different forms of human trafficking and information on implementing a human trafficking screening tool within homeless shelters and victim service institutions. Ensuring that community service providers are informed on recognizing and reporting human trafficking can help ensure victim safety and prevent the growth of trafficking throughout Georgia. Please reach out to Tatiana Nigh for more information on the workshop.
