NEW Homebrew: Dark Moor. 5e D&D - ***Currently Closed***

Who I am as a GM:
Laid back, somewhat new, looking to gain knowledge and experience with new and old players alike. I have a dedicated WorldAnvil site that I am constantly dumping ideas into, I m an Inkarnate master, and I guess fancy myself an artist. I say artist because I print and paint my own miniatures with hopes of getting into terrain. Until then, it s pre-made, convertible cardboard. Hey, whatever works :) So anyway, I print all the miniatures for PCs, NPCs, and monsters in my games. You can totally use your own though, if it s higher quality. Some personal notes: I m pretty shy at first, I like cats, beer, and heavy metal. I hope you ll appreciate my authenticity.

What I look for in a player:
Someone who just has an open mind. I understand DnD has been around for what seems like forever, and everyone has their own experiences. I would hope it to be understood that no game or gaming style is exactly like another and that we are all learning! I m looking for players who don t mind being patient if we need to stop to check out a rule in the handbook, or if a homebrew aspect isn t so great. An ideal player would keep open a positive feedback loop between myself and the other players. But most of all, I m looking for players who can bring their characters to life at the table and be themselves! <3

What to look forward to in our games:
This first meeting will likely be at a restaurant in the city, chosen because I know they have giant tables upstairs. I hope we can roll characters and become acquainted with one another before meeting in a possibly private setting. This way, everyone can be comfortable :) Past the initial meet up, I hope to continue playing biweekly on whatever night is deemed the most convenient for everyone! We can sort out the locations and frequencies as needed. As a note, I don t have the most room, but could make it work so long as you don t mind inquisitive felines <3

As a homebrew, not every aspect has been written or completed, so we will be doing a lot of worldbuilding together! :)

This is a homebrew story only. Races, classes, rules all apply to 5e. You may roll any race or class you choose out of 5e - DLC included. I also have a few homebrew races to choose from, so let me know if you re interested and I ll send the stat blocks!

Writing utensils/scratch paper
5e character sheet copy
Dice
5e player handbook OR a device to read digitally
Whatever else you can think of
