Home Insurance Workshop: East Flatbush

In this FREE, small-group workshop, an insurance specialist will:

• provide an overview of property insurance and how premiums are calculated

• analyze your policy to determine if you're paying too much or are underinsured

• let you know if you should ask your agent to change how much you pay. (If your policy payment is paid with your mortgage and the policy payment is lowered, your mortgage payment will also go down.)

• review fire safety precautions you hsould be taking

Please bring these documents to the workshop:

* omeowner's or renter's insurance policy declarations pages

* flood insurance policy, if you have one

* recent mortgage statement in order to check the escrow amount being collected
