Do I have to be licensed to be a home inspector?
home inspector licensing is required in many states in order to conduct a home inspection for a fee. Virginia and Maryland have licensing requirements;
- Minimum of 72 contact hours education,
- Passing the National Home Inspection Exam,
- Performing a minimum of 25 inspections.
This course is state approved for the 72 contact hours of pre-licensing training. In addition, it includes the required 25 inspections hands-on participation with licensed inspectors.
- Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 9 am to 6 pm.
