This is an event that includes networking and a panel of youth and adult women who discuss issues that plague women in the black community.

This is a WOMEN ONLY event.

Tuyeni Akanke and The Healing Academy host the second edition of The Home Girl Huddle Discussion panel. This event is meant to be a safe space for a candid conversation about what has divided minority women over time, as well as the solutions to unify and create a legacy of healing for women and girls in our communities. We have connected a panel of ladies who range in ages from youth to adult. This event will also include the voices of audience members who would like to comment or ask questions. During this discussion we will "keep it 100" regarding sisterhood, mental health and minority culture.

What is The Home Girl Huddle?

The Home Girl Huddle is a movement intended to unify and empower girls and women in communities of color. This is done by creating opportunities for them to fellowship and learn from one another.

Our core value is in the belief that all female members of the community are necessary, and that everyone has an essential role, no matter the age or life circumstance.

All schools and mentor groups welcome!
