Holiday Party with a Skein Swap!

Join us for some holiday cheer and a skein swap! We'll have wine and eats and love! Bring your knitting or crocheting, your sense of humor and non perishable food items for our local Helping Hands if you'd like to be entered in a prize drawing!

Skeins to be swapped should be at least 75% natural fiber, in their original condition (e.g. not rolled into a ball or cake) with their ball bands intact. Retail value is less important than their having come from a small local yarn shop (or hand dyer or Etsy or whatever) rather than a Big Box store. We're shooting for small and original rather than hugely mass produced. I'm not sure how to articulate that without offending anyone so if you have any questions, please PM me. ;-) We'll start the swap part at around 5:30 and, again, without offending anyone, it will be a progressive swap with a 3 swap limit. Again, questions, just PM me!

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER for this event so we know how many folks to expect, regardless if you'll be noshing with us. It's free to come to the swap but if you'd like to eat, your $15 registration includes your charcuterie and your first glass of wine! We'll have some great bottle specials as well!
