Research Orientations providing a basic introduction for researchers using the Hispanic Reading Room and the Library's Hispanic collections are offered to the public on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The sessions are held in LJ-240 in the Jefferson Building. Attendees should use the First Street Carriage Entrance of the Jefferson Building.

We recommend that researchers obtain a Reader Identification card prior to the orientation.

Please note that the maximum class size is 20 researchers unless otherwise indicated.

Individuals requiring accommodations for any of these events are requested to submit a request at least five business days in advance by contacting (202) 707-6362 or ADA@loc.gov.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the orientation. Seating is available on a first-come basis. Registration does not guarantee entry after the orientation start time.
