Hillary Kobernick writes poems for both performance and page. She has competed at the National Poetry Slam six times, representing Atlanta and Chicago, and was the 2014 Grand Slam Champion of Mental Graffiti Poetry Slam. Her poems have appeared on the Button Poetry YouTube channel and are published or forthcoming in journals including DecomP, Hermeneutic Chaos Literary Journal, Stonecoast Review, FreezeRay, and The Christian Century. She holds a Master’s of Divinity and pastors a small church outside of Chicago.
