Hiking and Biking at Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Are you trying to get to all the 58 National Parks? Join us for a National Parks visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. Cuyahoga Valley National Park lies along the Cuyahoga River between the Ohio cities of Cleveland and Akron. The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail is a restored section of the canal s original towpath. In the park’s north, the Canal Exploration Center details the 19th-century waterway’s history. Towering Brandywine Falls is one of several waterfalls. We will spend the day hiking, biking or just relaxing and exploring nature.

We will meet at the Canal Place in Cumberland, MD at 6:30AM to depart by 7AM. You may consider coming up on Friday evening and spend the night at a local hotel (See below for a list of local hotels). We can car pool or based on the number of people rent a vehicle to travel the 3 hour drive to the park to arrive between 11AM to 12PM. Once we get to the park, hiking and biking are available. Nearby bike rentals are available.

This is an all-day trip and we will depart the park around 5PM to return to Cumberland, Maryland.
