Healthy Minds Empowerment Conference

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. (AKA) and National Alliance on Mental Illness  (NAMI) Buffalo & Erie County have partnered to present a FREE one day event the Healthy Minds Empowerment Conference.  

Since there is a need to inform young people, we plan to focus on 7th – 12th grade students. They will be invited along with their parents and other adults who work with youth for a series of workshops and panel discussions directed at low income, underserved communities educating them on the dangers of drug abuse, ways to identify and seek support for mental health. ways to cope, and much more.

We hope to see you  Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Medaille College, BREAKFAST AND LUNCH IS INCLUDED!
