It’s your life — so who’s better to be an expert on your body, mind, and overall health than the person wearing your shoes. In this conference and community event, we’ll discuss how to take responsibility for your health and mental well-being, regardless of how far along in life you are. We’ll highlight the mind-body connection and discuss the value of holistic, preventive, and proactive ways to live fulfilling and lengthy lives.
This event’s host, IBREA FOUNDATION, will discuss its efforts to provide holistic health services and holistic education to the West Harlem community and high school students at A. Philip Randolph. Co-sponsored by the World Health Organization, the NGO Committee on Mental Health, Brain World magazine, and the West Harlem Development Corporation, we’ll provide data, insight, and direct experience to show that when individuals take ownership of their health from early childhood— this leads to a healthier and more vibrant society — for all of us … so own it! Own your health!
Featuring top scientists, mind-body training experts, educators and practitioners of the Harlem community, the event will also include an energy healing experience, as well as performances by Harlem youth and a raffle with exciting prizes for your physical and mental wellbeing!
The discussion will be moderated by New York Times Health and Science writer, Pam Belluck.
