This hand-on workshop is designed to help you make sense of health information on the Internet. Using a computer provided during class, you will learn the following: getting started (World Wide Web basics); introduction to reliable consumer health information; sources on the Internet (e.g., tips for healthy living, doctor's credentials, hospitals and drug information); and how to discuss the information you find online with your doctor.
