Hand Lettering Workshop - February

DESCRIPTION

Learn fun art and drawing techniques coupled with typography to bring your type designs to life in this Sunday afternoon workshop! 

Classes will go over basic typography concepts, hand lettered fonts, and coloring techniques. Taught by Bott Shoppe’s very own Laura Saravia Bott, who graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

• Basics of typography
• Understanding of type structure
• Drawing & Coloring Techniques
• Creation of custom type art

$20/per session

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All Levels and Ages welcome but best for those with basic drawing ability. Please note all children up-to 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking: Free Street Parking on Sundays (check signs)
Public Transportation: MetroNorth Mamaroneck station & 60 Bus stops

What can I bring into the event?
Please do not bring oil paint and solvents, small batches of liquid materials OK.

We provide basic supplies but encourage to bring your own. We do carry a selection of supplies for sale.

• Kneaded eraser
• Fine Tip Markers
• Colored pencils
• Srap Sketchbook 
• Bristol or Watercolor Paper
• Grid Paper
• Carbon Paper

Can I use my class pass for other workshops?
Yes, but not all of them qualify. So please ask in advance before booking.
