Hair Love Tour Book Event

 Hair Love is an ode to loving your natural hair — and a celebration of daddies and daughters everywhere!!!

Join us for a afternoon with former NFL Wide Reciever turned Filmmaker Matthew A Cherry & New York Times bestselling illustrator (Little Leaders )Vashti Harrison. There will be a book talk & story time  with Author Matthew Cherry & Illustrator Vashti Harrison will offer a drawing demonstration. The event will close with time for book signing by the Authors. 

A short film based on this book was picked up by Sony Animation Pictures will be out later this year. The film is co-directed by Matthew A Cherry and Everett Downing. We love that this book will also live on the screen.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On Sunday street parking is free. Please check for lots offereing free parking on Cass.  The Traffic Jam & Snug resturant lot and the lot on Woodward and Canfield have $5 parking
