Hair We Are Again 2020

The Speicher-Rubin Women’s Center for Equity and Diversity at New Jersey City University (NJCU) is hosting Hair We Are Again – NJCU’s take on the popular CurlFest – on Wednesday, February 20 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
During this event, we will celebrate the beauty of curls and textures from all ethnicities and genders, and what it means to "go natural" and "be natural" in today’s society. The event will feature a HAIRspiration show, hair care videos, head scraf demos, hair experts, The Style Booth, and the Candid Corner.
The event will kick off with storytime to help all children in attendance love and appreciate their natural curls too!
It will be a beautiful day to remember as we ERASE shame and stigma, and provide Education, Resources, Affirmation, Support and Empowerment.
