***NOTE: YOU MUST
A hackathon is best described as a “coding marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build & share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be majoring in Computer Science. Brooklyn College’s hackathon, Hack Brooklyn, will allow you step into a world of magic where over 150 students will collaborate over the course of 12 hours and use technology to solve present-day problems to make a better tomorrow.
What you will gain from hack Brooklyn:
- Create a project
- Acquire new skills
- Network with other hackers and companies
- Join workshops
- Build your résumé
