LIFT Networking Event and Guest Speaker: Kristi Ball, Vice President Operations at Bethesda Hospital

We're starting the conversation and inviting all people.

If you're in the Twin Cities (Roseville) area and want to join the new initiative for all genders called: LIFT (Leaders in Flight Together), sign up here. We will meet the third Thursday of every month. Mark your calendars, join us, sponsor us, believe in us. We're intending to achieve more than 1-2% increase of women in leadership positions that was gained in 2018. We know we all can do our part to make our future better. You can create this reality with us.

We kick off each event with a networking session while enjoying light snacks and beverages. You will meet new friends and see familiar faces. The guest speakers we host will impact each attendee in an inspiring way. They are interactive and come from a variety of backgrounds, professions, educations, and experiences in both entrepreneurial and corporate settings.

We are excited to announce our speaker for July 2019: Kristi Ball, Vice President Operations at Bethesda Hospital.

Kristi Ball has been in the healthcare industry for 20 years, holding roles such as Emergency Department Manager at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Director of Nursing, and Vice President of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer at Bethesda Hospital. She currently holds the role of Vice President Hospital Operations for Bethesda Hospital, which is a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). Prior to her role in healthcare, Kristi spent 12 years building and operating waterparks, community centers and parks in different parks and recreation departments in the state.

Driven to help leaders navigate through the complexities of being an LTACH, Kristi is responsible for hospital operations and stays abreast of legislation that effects the way Bethesda is run. Her primary focus is on patient care and ensuring all departments work together cohesively, for the sake of excellence for our patients.

Kristi received her Bachelor’s in Nursing at St. Kates, her Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Olaf and her MBA from Carlson School of Management. Additionally, Kristi serves on the Board for National Association of Long Term Hospitals (NALTH), is involved in the St. Paul Leadership program, and shares her expertise in panel discussions with organizations such as Healthcare Financial Management Association, Women’s Health Care Trust Leadership program. In her spare time, Kristi volunteers with the National Ski Patrol, providing direct patient care to skiers at Lutsen and Hyland Ski Areas.
