One:One presents a Zero-Waste themed workshop where participants will take away both tangible products and new knowledge about living.

To celebrate One:One's 3rd anniversary, we have partnered with locals to present a Zero-Waste/Sustainability themed workshop where participants will take away both tangible products and new knowledge about living.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

10:00 am - 10:50 am: Yoga Class given by Vanessa Sagredo

11:00 am - 11:30 am: Zero Waste Workshop given by Zero Waste El Paso

11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Green Infrastructure Talk given by Cry Sosa

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: DIY Eco-Friendly Candle Class given by Hippie Girl

1:00 pm: Eco-Friendly Basket Raffle (that will include eco-friendly goodies from: Ofen & Tassen, AimeeOh, Trendy Decor, In Bloom, and Yay for Earth).

Vegan treats, coffee, and goodies will be sold throughout the day.

Cost for participating in all the event is $20. All proceeds will be donated to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

Details of Classes:

-Yoga- Expand with an energizing hatha flow to release tension. Root into the present moment with intentional breathwork and movements to ease into your morning.

-Zero-Waste Workshop-Learn how to live the #zerowaste lifestyle with Rebecca from Zero Waste El Paso. She will discuss the benefits of zero-waste living and share information about the clothing industry, animal agriculture, toxic materials like plastic, among other things.

-Green Infrastructure Classes-This class is to understand the range of possible benefits using green infrastructure and learn the principles behind incorporating green infrastructure into community building projects.

-DIY Candle Class - The candle industry is worth over six billion dollars. This leads to the production of massive amounts of paraffin every year. Paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is in no way healthy or sustainable. In this class we are going to learn to make candles from organic material and oils and take them home in a reusable glass.

-Eco-friendly Basket Raffle - We will be raffling an eco-friendly basket that will contain soy candles, body butter, lotions, coffee mugs, reusable straws, shampoo bars, and other surprise goodies.
