Eowyn, Your Song Is Your Story is about nontraditional and blended families. The story follows a young whale as she swims through the universe, meeting animals from different families with different dynamics.
Boise illustrator Jaimee Walters has created a beautiful setting and atmosphere with her paintings, which will be shown at the release.
Boise author Kam Walters will read the book, which is published by the local press, TRANS(form)ed Press.
In addition, students from the Boise and West Ada school districts will display their own family-oriented art, ranging from sculptures to paintings.
This family-centered event will be full of art, literature and love. Bring your children, look at the art and hear a children's book that portrays a way of living often neglected in popular media.
