THE GRACE OF YES Women's Retreat

RETREAT THEME:  How do we prayerfully give God our best "yes" and to live as generous spirits in the world around us? Inspired by Mary's strong and faithful "fiat", we will focus together on generosity in our faith lives, our relationships, our work, during times of challenge and on how sometimes a prayerful "no" can be our best "yes" to God and our loved ones. With time for quiet reflection and guided conversation, we will spend a restorative day contemplating our unique calling to be of love and service to those around us while nourishing our own spiritual, emotional and intellectual reserves. 

PRESENTER: Lisa M. Hendey is a best-selling author of fiction and non-fiction for adults and children. She serves Editor-at-Large with Ave Maria Press.  Lisa co-edited The Catholic Mom’s Prayer Companion with 80 co-authors.  Her “Chime Travelers” fiction series is being read and studied nationwide. A frequent television and radio guest, her writing has been featured in multiple outlets. Hendey speaks internationally on faith, family, and technology topics.
