The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is one of the largest (if not THE largest) conferences for women and the men who support them in tech. Not only do students leave GHC inspired from hearing about the educational, research and career paths of technical women, they have opportunities there and afterward to connect with employers, polish their resumes and interviewing skills, and seek future opportunities. That said, GHC has gotten so big, it’s getting harder and harder for students to attend. The last two years, registration has sold out within hours of when it opened.
This 5-day event is open to all students, faculty and staff, and local professionals. The College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (iCEHC) is partnering with the Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD), UAlbany Information Technology Services, School of Business, Girls Scouts of Northeast New York, NY TechLoop, Blackstone LaunchPad and the student chapter of ASIS&T.
