Grace Potter

Grace Potter is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and frontwoman for the band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
Potter’s mesmerizing voice has earned her comparisons to
Bonnie Raitt
, Janis Joplin, and Aretha Franklin.  Her sound is reminiscent to The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Delta Rae, and ZZ Ward.
As a solo artist, and as a member of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Potter has performed mainly rock music.  Her brand of rock, however, has been greatly influenced by a variety of other genres including blues, folk, country, and hard rock.
Besides possessing an amazing voice, Potter is also a talented musician especially on the keyboards.   She plays the guitar too.
Potter is the band’s principal songwriter.
Grace Potter Albums
Potter’s first album, Original Soul, hit streets in 2004.  Released independently, the album failed to chart.
Her sophomore offering came out eleven years later.  To be precise, Midnight dropped Aug. 14, 2015.  It peaked at #26 on the Billboard 200.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
Between 2005 and 2012, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals issued four albums.  Their last two long players—their 2010 self-titled opus and their 2012 submission The Lion the Beast the Beat—both cracked the top 20 on the Billboard 200 (#19 and #17 respectively).
