EVENT DETAILS:
Time: 9:00am to 12:00pm
Goodwill is hiring for the following positions:
- Cashiers
- Store Donation Attendants
- Production Associates
- Store Supervisors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Store Supervisor:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School graduate or GED and a minimum of one year’s retail experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and writing skills.
- Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
- Must successfully complete GICW’s Cashier Certification class.
- Must provide own transportation as required.
- Must maintain consistent, predictable and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
- Must be able to demonstrate upon request functional literacy and numeric proficiency.
- Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public
Retail Positions:
- Minimum age requirement for cashiers is 16 years old, all others must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work store operating hours.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting, stand, walk, carry, push, pull, reach, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, grasp, kneel, and climb.
- Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public.
- Must be able to function independently in a work setting.
Come prepared to complete the following:
- Goodwill Application (with complete 10 year work history)
- Job Interview
All applicants receiving a contingent offer of employment will be expected to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal record background check.
