GIRLS WHO LEAD

Executive Coach Jen McCloskey will be doing a FREE workshop on “Public Speaking:  Tools and Techniques to being an effective speaker.   Our Girls will be able to use these lessons in the classroom when doing presentations at school in front of peers etc.

Lunch and Snacks will be served - parents are responsible for transportation to and from our offices in Arlington.

Goal of "Girls Who Lead"

Give young women a platform to gather (outside of school) and organize a quarterly event focused on developing their leadership skills. The idea is that they would self-organize, then identify and recruit a speaker, coach or influencer to come present to them.  And over the course of multiple events, learn the tools and techniques necessary to become effective leaders.  

Learning from real people, real leaders in various fields of engineering, transformation, creative etc and seeing for themselves that they can indeed be anything they want to be when they “grow up”.

By impacting future generations of leaders, we can affect the problem very early on, and hopefully change a few trajectories toward whatever direction their heart + mind take them.
