Gentle Yoga Using Tune Up Therapy Balls - a 4-week series
Join registered nurse and yoga instructor Connie Lee-Nelson for this introductory class, suitable for adults of all ages, beliefs, and abilities. Classes will meet for 1 hour per week for four weeks.
Learn to stretch your tightness away using Tune Up Therapy Balls while doing gentle yoga. Yoga Tune Up balls are self-care tools to relieve tightness in your muscles and tissue. These balls can directly or indirectly relieve pain, improve range of motion, and help you move better.
Study simple yoga poses to feel better in your body and mind with a specially trained Yoga Tune Up instructor. Former yoga experience is not required. All levels are welcome.
What to Expect:
- Class will be a combination of learning, skill-building, and practice.
- Participants will need to move around during class sessions and should wear comfortable clothing.
- Participants may be asked to try activities in standing, seated, and reclining positions on a yoga mat if they are able. The instructor can help participants adapt activities to a chair or as needed.
- Class has a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 12.
Yoga mats, blocks, and Tune Up Balls will be provided to those individuals who do not have them for use in-class. Class size will be limited to 12 participants to allow for individualized instruction.

Space: Limited, pre-registration is required. Registration must meet a minimum of 8 participants or class will be cancelled and monies refunded.
