Garfield High School Class of 1998 20 Year Reunion

Dear class of 1998, 

Twenty years ago we were anxiously awaiting graduation, ten years ago we partied as eager twenty somethings at our first reunion, now we are just months away from reuniting with our fellow Bulldogs for another major milestone. It’s time to reconnect, catch up with old friends, and embrace our nostalgia for the good ol’ high-school days.  

The structure of our reunion will be much the same as last time: Afternoon barbecue and an evening party. Locations for all the Saturday events will be revealed soon.   

In order to make the Garfield class of 1998 20 year reunion a success we want to collect donations to cover the expenses for all events (about $3000). Our goal is to reduce costs to the point where they are minimal or non-existent for alumni on reunion weekend. Our suggested donation is $19.98. Do you notice the symbolism? We think it is kinda clever…         

Donations will go to:

- Rental of a local park picnic site for Saturday BBQ.

- BBQ supplies (food, cooking stuff, decorations).

- Bar Reservation for Saturday night.

- Alcohol and other drinks, so people can drink close to free Saturday night.

- Decorations, DJ, and other cool stuff for Saturday night.

The suggested donation is $19.98 per person. However, we are asking those who can to donate extra so we can have the best and most inclusive event possible. If you can, please give a little extra. Those who are feeling generous can purchase a Bulldog Benefactor ticket for $250. The Bulldog Benefactors will ensure we have plenty of food and drinks at both events and will drink and eat for free all night!

Reunion planning is a group effort. Some of us are putting in time. Some of us are donating resources. With the contributions of everyone, the Garfield High School class of '98 reunion is sure to be a success. Thanks in advance for your timely donation and please pass on this information to your fellow '98 graduates and encourage them to donate now!
