FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Training
The FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food Regulation is intended to ensure safe manufacturing, processing, packing, and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States through Good Manufacturing Practices, hazard analysis, and risk-based preventative measures. The regulation requires certain activities to be completed by a “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual”. This course, developed by FSPCA, follows the standard curriculum recognized by the FDA. Successful completion of this course will qualify students to meet the requirements for a FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual.
Through two and a half days of training, expert instructors will cover:

- Preliminary steps in developing a Food Safety Plan
- Resources in developing a Food Safety Plan
- Hazard Analysis and Preventive Controls determination
- Process Preventive Controls
