Free Wig Altering Class for Cancer Survivors/Patients

Patients at different treatment levels receive instructions on how to change and alter their wig caps to suit their head size.

Class includes wig cap shrinking (sizing) and hand sewing techniques.

Prerequisites:

Who can attend?

Women, 18 or older, who are currently undergoing treatment for cancer or who have recently completed treatment for cancer (chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or other forms of treatment) are eligible to attend.

Supplieds needed:

• Wigs you would like to resize and alter.
• All other supplies are included.

Special Notes:

To give our workshop participants the utmost privacy and comfort, and to ensure that sufficient space is available for qualified individuals, only participants are allowed to attend the workshop.

Styling services are not covered.
