This training is OPEN for ALL community dancers, fitness trainers, and dance fitness instructors who are interested in possible future instructor opportunities at SMASH, OR just want to learn and improve their teaching skills while networking with other instructors.This FREE Instructor training provides networking while developing relationships and mentorships with other instructors. The best instructors learn from one another.Wether you are an experienced instructor or new to the industry, this is FREE education and networking event for our community with the same passion being provided by Project SMASH nonprofit.Project SMASH is a 501c3 organization that provides dance and fitness, and educational programs for local shelters, children homes, rehabilitation centers, and low income communities.The event will be divided in three portions.11:45am-1:45pm HOW TO TEACH DANCE FITNESS:by ZUMBA instructors Veronica Morillos Josh Williams and Cynthia Calzada Medellin Veronica and Cynthia are experienced ZUMBA instructors & Josh is a National MIXXEDFIT trainer. The combination of the 3 instructors will give you great valuable information!2pm-4pm HOW TO TEACH KIDS DANCE CLASSES by SMASH Hiphop director Marques Mireles who is also the host for our famous monthly VIBE NIGHT and is founder of NXG Dance crew . Mr. Marques will guide you about teaching for kids dance classes.4:15pm-6:15pm How to teach at Recovery Centers for Project SMASH by Instructor/Director Ms. Amy Native who has been teaching for several years at our community partners facilities at local shelters, children homes, and rehabilitation centers.
