myCovidMD® and myCovid19.live aims to deliver 10,000 rapid tests to older adults, under-resourced and houseless individuals, allowing them to connect with Community Health Partners (CHP), advocates and trusted organizations for advice without risking exposure to the coronavirus. We are addressing health inequities for communities of color by meeting residents where they are, in their communities and connecting with other medical and non-medical efforts on the ground.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PCR AND ANTIGEN TEST?

PCR tests and antigen tests are both diagnostic tests that can be used to determine whether you currently have an active coronavirus infection. Serology tests (think: finger prick) looks for antibodies in the blood to determine if you've been infected in the past.

With a mission of leaving no community behind, The company's goal is to match clinically competent, culturally diverse, board-certified, emergency medicine residency trained physician candidates with area emergency departments (ED). Emerge has partnered with myCovidMD to ensure the staffing of quality frontline Emergency Medical physicians for myCovidMD Pop-Up Community Drive-Thru Testing.
