Free Bus Trip - PECO Free First Sunday Family Day - April

The Barnes Foundation welcomes West Philadelphia families to PECO First Sunday Family Day! Every first Sunday of the month a Barnes @ LoLa 38 bus will shuttle to the Barnes Foundation from The Bank (3750 Lancaster Ave.) for free access to art activities, public performances, collection and special exhibitions.

Parent/Guardian MUST accompany children. Arrive to The Bank by 1:15p, Bus Departs at 1:30p and returns to The Bank by 5p. Advance Registration Encouraged. Snacks provided. Seats are limited; first come, first served.

April 2020: Art for Your Heart

See the collection and new exhibition of modernist tapestries commissioned by entrepreneur, Marie Cuttoli. Write poems, make paper flowers, create vision boards, and enjoy a number of interactive performances.

Join the Barnes Foundation for a little self-care through art making and a fun installation of “safe spaces” to explore.

Visual and performing artist Shanina Dionna transforms the terrace into the “ultimate safe space,” with nine installations designed for physical and mental comfort, and related performances.
