Francesca Zambello, director of The Glimmerglass Festival, offers a glimpse into the Central New York Festival’s 2020 summer season. Featuring a new production of The Sound of Music starring Grammy Award-winner Isabel Leonard, as well Handel’s Rinaldo and Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
Zambello is an award-winning director known for her epic productions of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, and this summer she will offer audiences Wagner’s seldom-produced first opera, Die Feen.
