For Beginners: HTML, CSS & JavaScript

• 9:00am - 9:45am - Coffee/drinks and socialize - this is a good time for new members to come and find out what it is all about 

• 9:45am to 10:00am - move to Dublin Library, Group Study Room, 200 Civic Plaza, Dublin, CA 94568

• 10:00am - 12:00pm - Working session. Either quiet coding with 1:1 help or a structured activity. 

NOTE: we will be working on one of the following subjects, data types, variables, scope and/or functions. To fully participate you need 

• a code editor, Atom preferred, but others are fine

• Git installed

• a GitHub account

•  and potentially npm.

New Format!

Our Thursday session has been running for well over a year now. The group started as all beginners but we now have a significant mix of skill levels. Some days our topic is fairly advanced and not productive for beginners. As a result, we have decided to have alternating weeks for beginners and advanced developers. 

The meeting activities will remain the same:

• Presentation and/or lesson - subject announced in advance

• Help session - answering questions or ad-hoc topic based on a question

• Code review - we love reviewing people's code and you will learn a lot unless you know more that us, in which case we will learn and love that too.
