Food Safety Training - Certified Food Safety Manager Course and Exam, Prescott, AZ (Yavapai County)
Each Arizona food establishment that serves food which requires time/temperature control for food safety shall have at least one (1) Certified Food Protection Manager also known as Food Safety Manager or Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) on staff. The CPFM shall either be physically present or available by electronic or telephonic means whenever the food establishment is in operation.
Candidates shall obtain a CPFM Certificate after successful completion of a test from a Food Manager Certification program as described in the 2013 FDA Food Code, § 2-102.20. Fidelity Safety & Training is a provider of ANSI-Accredited food manager examinations and certificates. The certificate is valid for a period of five years as of the time testing was completed. Re-testing is required after the certificate has expired. Each food establishment shall maintain on its premises a separate file containing a copy of the certified food protection manager certificate(s) for each food service manager. This file shall be accessible to the Environmental Health Officer for review upon request.
Yavapai County – Yavapai County Health Code and Ordinance requires a Certified Food Protection Manager on staff during business hours or if 10 or less employee a Certified Food Protection Manager is available for a minimum of 8 hours per day. The Person in Charge (PIC) must also be a Certified Food Protection Manager.
Our CPFM courses are half-day programs followed by an 80 multiple choice examination. Exam only options are also available. Our courses are in ENGLISH, but the EXAMINATION is bi-lingual English/Spanish. Exams are also available in Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese.

What's the refund policy?
If you are unable to attend the Certified Food Handler Course/Exam or need to reschedule to another date, please notify us within 14 business days of the course date to receive a 75% refund on the course/exam fee or to reschedule. You may notify us by phone 800-429-7110. If you are not able to attend on the day of the course, you may send another employee in your place without penalty. There are no refunds or reschedules 14 business days prior to the course or if you fail to show for the course/exam. If you miss your scheduled course/exam date, you will need to register and pay again. If FS&T cancels the course due to low enrollment, you may choose another course date or a full refund. We are unable to refund you for study materials (books, etc.) or postage once the material(s) have been sent in the mail. Payment is required prior to services being performed. Hurry, classes fill up quickly and are on a first-come, first served basis.
