This program will provide attendees with a big picture look at a cardiac event following a timeline beginning prior to an MI (heart attack) all the way to recovery. The attendee will hear from each of the services participating in a cardiac event, including community outreach, 911 dispatch, EMS, ED, Cath lab, Inpatient cardiac care and cardiac rehab. Attendees will also learn about specialized treatment modalities during the lunch and learn. This program intends to increase understanding of how each specialty provides an essential link in the chain of survival thereby strengthening the relationship between those links.
