The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and Baylor College of Medicine will host a Fetal Infant Morbidity Case Review for Congenital Syphilis & Perinatal HIV (FIMRSH) and Community Action Team Meeting on Thursday,March 5, 2020

The purpose of the workshop is to assess key elements in congenital syphilis prevention using case summaries consisting of medical chart abstractions and maternal interviews, to describe missed opportunities for disease intervention or barriers to care, and to identify possible community action items to affect systems of change.

The planning committee applied for and received continuing education cedit (3.5 hours) for multiple disciplines for this workshop. Approved credits are posted at the link below. The trainer will provide attendees with specific instructions during the workshop. DSHS will send a link to the required evaluation after the workshop.
