How to Fertilize Fruit Trees - Saturday

Learn how to feed fruit trees in a variety of ways. You will learn how to apply conventional mineral fertilizers by hand and fertilizer injectors as well as how to apply compost as a fertilizer, compost tea, composted manure and vegan fertilizers.

You will be taught how to correct yellowing trees with the use of specialized fertilizers applied to the soil as well as sprayed on the leaves.You will also learn the correct time to apply these fertilizers to obtain an abundance of fruit during the year.

The Orchard at Ahern is a private 8 acre facility devoted to the production of tree fruit and vegetables.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Transportation is on your own but offstreet parking is available at the orchard in a designated parking area just off of Bonanza adjacent to the orchard.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, your registration is transferable and dates may be transferable as well if the class is not full. Please contact Bob Morris if there are any changes to your registration.
