Egalitarian Minyan and Social Hour: Fall in love with Shabbat
Israeli Shabbat
»
Makom means “The Place” in Hebrew, as in, it’s “The Place to be” to find joy, spirituality, and community for those in their 20s & 30s. The staple of Makom 20s/30s programming is our monthly 3rd Friday Shabbat dinner and late service, because sharing a Shabbat meal, lighting candles, and relaxing among friends and community is (in our humble opinion) one of the best parts of Shabbat!
Join us for shmoozing and drinks at 6:30, a catered dinner at 7:00, then stay and pray with us at our late service at 7:45, led by Temple Sholom clergy and local musicians. Your $10 dinner ticket includes a Kosher-style Shabbat meal plus beer, wine & soft drinks. Our service at 7:45 is free and open to all.
