About the host: Alejandra, known as @libros.con.coffee on bookstagram, is a book lover with a passion for contemporary fiction and nonfiction written by and for people of color. She created her bookstagram account to advocate for more BIPOC voices from both authors and reviewers, to uplift diverse books, especially by Latinas, and for a fun outlet and self-care activity outside of work. When she’s not reading, Alejandra can be found working on economic policy for local governments or sipping wine at Dio Wine Bar. Originally from Albuquerque, Nuevo Mexico, Alejandra lives in Washington DC and enjoys meeting local DMV book lovers!
