Every Saturday in February – the Avenida will present outdoor screenings of movies written, directed and featuring prominent Black Americans. Screenings will be followed by a Q&A with Houstonian creatives and others discussing the relevance of the films with Black heritage and history. Complimentary popcorn + beverages and other movie favorites will be available for purchase.
