Speaker: Anne McGuire

In Anne's presentation, she will discuss the importance of assessing pre-divorce health insurance coverage and comparing it to future options and costs. Anne will also focus on key healthcare benefits and support clients should ask for during divorce negotiations, and what clients need to do to maintain coverage and manage coverage transitions after the divorce.

Attendees will learn:

• How to assess and compare current and future healthcare coverage and costs.
• What healthcare coverage and financial support clients should ask for during negotiations.
• Important information about COBRA’s coverage, costs and premium payments.
• When to sign up for Medicare and how it impacts COBRA and individual insurance coverage.
• How company (group) insurance coverage can effect COBRA and Medicare coverage.

About the Speaker

Anne McGuire founded Healthcare Pathfinder, LLC in 2015. She is a Registered nurse, a Certified Case Manager and has 20 years of experience providing advice, advocacy and case management services to high net worth individual and companies.

Professional experiences include: Advocacy/Negotiations specialist, Case Manager and Utilization Review Nurse, Home Care Supervisor and Case Manager, and Surgical/Trauma ICU Nurse.

She is a member of the Certified Case Management Association, Alliance for Professional Healthcare Advocates, serves on local boards and a member of several professional groups.

She received her bachelors of science with a major in Nursing at Hartwick College. Anne resides in Darien, CT with her husband and has two adult children.
