Every other Sunday morning we will meet at a local park to explore our "wild" side. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The trips will not be strenuous but may involve walking distances of one to two miles. Today we're going Kapok Park, a relatively new Clearwater Park. We've been here before and have seen Limpkins, Red-shouldered Hawks, Great Horned Owls, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Red-winged Blackbirds, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, and many more birds. Otters are seen frequently as well. We meet in the parking lot at 8:30 AM.
