Fashion Engineering Summer Camp

Join Maker Studio for a summer of learning fashion design, engineering, and technology! Camps are one week in lenght. Suitable for students ages 8-16.

We'll start with design ideas, brainstorming, and sketching. To transform these ideas into reality, we'll use tools such as sewing machines, 3D printers, and laser cutters. New themes every week range from jewelry design to wearable tech, with a variety of projects using materials such as LED lights, circuits, and textiles. In addition, we'll get involved in the community with field trips to local manufacturers and fashion companies. And at the end of each week, students will be able to take home a unique project and walk away a confident designer. Every Friday afternoon, we'll host a student-run gallery where parents and siblings can come check out the student work.
