Farmland Screening

Join us in a screening of Farmland, a film by Academy Award®-winning director James Moll. Farmland takes the viewer inside the world of farming for a first-hand glimpse into the lives of six young farmers and ranchers in their twenties. Many Americans have never stepped foot on a farm or ranch or even talked to the people who grow and raise the food we eat yet are increasingly passionate about understanding where their food comes from. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with agricultural experts to answer questions and promote dialogue about modern farming and ranching. Registered dietitians Neva Cochran, a member of Bayer U.S. – Crop Science’s L.E.A.D (Leaders Engaged in Advancing Dialogue) Network and Dairy MAX Health and Wellness Program Coordinator, Marley Oldham Carnes will co-host the event.
