Falmouth Striders, Gr 1 & 2 - Falmouth, ME 2021

Description This running program for youngsters is similar to cross-country running, but without the difficult terrain. The group practices on Mondays with meets in the Coastal Running League held typically on Wednesdays (final meet is on a weekend day). Meets are subject to the most current COVID restrictions and will be run at the discretion of the Town of Falmouth. A schedule of the meets/season will be forwarded to participants at the first practice. Meets are held at approximately 4:15pm. A bus will pick-up and drop-off ALL participants at Falmouth Elementary School on meet days. No refunds after August 30. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on September 7 at 6pm at the Mason-Motz Activity Center. If you do not already have a Striders running shirt, you will need to purchase one for $15. To ensure all parents are familiar with our program, we have a mandatory parent meeting for all parents. Meeting must be attended by at least one parent/guardian. Parents of runners who do not fulfill this requirement run the risk of their child being removed from the roster and will have their money refunded.
