Want to get a jump start on field trip planning for next school year?  Are you planning a summer camp and need a fun activity for your campers?  Are you ready for your school to take your STEM Education to the next level? At iFLY, we know the importance of a hands-on experience that engages EVERY student. Experience how flying accelerateslearning with iFLY's STEM Education Program during our Open House Event! We will explore the STEM principles behind our wind tunnel technology through exciting lectures, test flights, and lab activities. Participants will also review important details on our TEKS curriculum for grades 2-12. Join us at the Open House to learn more not only the STEM Experience iFLY provides but about discounted field trip flights and grant opportunities!   Each registered guest will receive a test flight, pizza, and everything you need to know about booking a STEM experience at iFLY! PLUS- Get experienced insight from successful campaign creators from Donorschoose.org & a Clubs Choice Fundraising representative to assist you with creating the perfect STEM Field Trip when funding is an issue!  What is the Agenda of the event? Arrival and Check-in Field Trip Presentation Ball Demonstration in the Wind Tunnel Flight Class starts Flights! Instructor Flight Demonstrations Throughout the Evening (You won't want to miss this!) Pizza will be served Not sure you want to fly during the event? We'll have activities for those that aren't flying. Guests are sure to be entertained by the demonstrations and experts flying in our wind tunnel! Please notify the organizer you are attending, but not flying. FAQs Are there age/physical limits to enter the event? There is no age limit to attend, but there are physical requirements for the flight experience. Please complete our waiver and review the terms if you plan to fly during the event. www.iFLYworld.com/flight-waiver What can/can't I bring to the event? Please wear comfortable clothing and lace up shoes if you are planning to fly. Please note this event is for STEM educators, legislators, and school administration. Children, family members, and other guests are welcome to attend and are welcome to fly with the purchase of a flight package. Please contact the organizer if you would like to purchase a flight. Yes, you may transfer your registration to another STEM educator or administrator. Please update your ticket information on your Eventbrite account. Plan to provide educator credentials upon arrival. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Not required, but it will be helpful. Can I add the High Flight experience? Yes! It is only $9.95 and is created specifically for first-time flyers to experience advanced body flight during their first flight. Call ahead at 281-295-1781 to add your High Flight in advance!
