A monthly pop up ecstatic dance ritual honoring queer ancestors and Black/Indigenous People of Color in the San Francisco /Bay Area.

Centering the restoration and release of emerging and established queer and trans artists, creatives, warriors, light workers, artivists, healers, educators, and leaders of color.

A space for dance, connection and authentic expression.

This month we are honoring Queer Ancestor: Josephine Baker. Queer, Bi-Sexual, Radical Performer, Civil Rights Activist. American-born dancer, singer, actress, and the toast of France, who became the first black international superstar, an activist, and a spy. Her parents were both vaudeville performers, and Baker grew up on the stage, but had little by way of food or money. Learn more about Josephine Baker here. #QueerAncestorsDance

All levels of movers are welcome. Dress comfortably. Bring a full water bottle. We dance with bare feet. Talk free. Media Free. Safe space of consent. Conscious dance space. Held container.

FAB LAB is a dance centered on queer and trans ancestors and artists of color. This is an inclusive, body positive, all levels, gender non-conforming, healing justice, continuously growing, affinity group for soul activation and collective liberation. It is open to self-identifying QTBIPoC (Queer/Trans, Black/Indigenous Person of Color) and BIPoC (Black/Indigenous Person of Color) allies and accomplices.
