Healthy jobs have been proven to create healthy communities. Research has shown by creating jobs that pay living wages with growth opportunities for workers and that are both physically and mentally healthy, chronic disease rates can be decreased.
How are you contributing to long-term stable jobs in the Bay Area? We all can play a role in creating and sustaining healthy jobs, but it is sometimes challenging to know how.
Join Conveners.org for an engaging event that will include:
Interactive exercises to help you create long-term stable jobs in your organization
Learn more about the secret ingredients of healthy communication, self-awareness, and connectedness can support you, your organization, and our communities
Networking with diverse community stakeholders, change-making organizations, and social entrepreneurs
This event is open to the public and designed for anyone who is interested in improving their organizations and communities by creating and sustaining healthy jobs.
We are excited to be donating all proceeds from the event to ICA Fund Good Jobs, a supporter of creating more healthy jobs in the SF Bay Area. Dinner will be provided at 6:15pm, and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Dinner will be provided through Town Kitchen, and will have options for gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free diets.
