• What we'll do
Have you ever felt bad about cutting someone off in traffic? Do you pretend to be interested in a conversation, yet you are really thinking about all of the things you need to do throughout your day? It’s not common-place to encounter life-changing, hero or bystander, situations daily. Frequently, though, we may come across minor/small predicaments where consequences seem insignificant, but, still, they may weigh on our consciences. Not harming other beings or stealing seem straightforward—maybe not—but what about when you tell a white lie or take a pen from your employer? Do you ever feel guilty about eating, instead of sharing, the extra hot dogs—the ones that are left bun-less due to the unequal bun to hot dog ratio? While these little moral dilemmas may seem insignificant, what would you do? What do our “minor” moral choices say about our beliefs and personalities? Are these moral dilemmas insignificant or do these choices pile up and increase our chances of bad karma? Join us for an evening of conversation and bring your everyday moral dilemmas to the table.
